Champions League group analysis

Napoli: Potentially our toughest opponents. On paper, definitely!! With a wide array of attacking talent such as Marik Hamsik, Gonzalo Higuain and Insigne, Arsenal are going to have to be at their very best when facing these opponents

My opinion: Runners up

Borussia Dortmund: Very attack minded team.

This team plays unbelievable attacking football on their day, reached the final last season and are potentially stronger than last season after adding to their squad (although the opposite can be said about them after losing Mario Gotze). Please note this is also the same team that did not make it out of the group stage the season before and just scraped through by beating Malaga in injury time to reach the semi final last season. Their defence leaves a lot to be desired and will be their Achilles heel in the long run as their gung ho approach suits all the other teams in the group just fine.

My opinion: will finish last

Marseille: A French team that might end up being the whooping boys of the group. Then again they might end up been the surprise of the group and even end up topping the group…?Not much is known about the team as a whole but their forwards such as the Ayew brothers have been spoken of highly, although now everyone is spoken of highly. Andre Pierre Gignac was once linked with Arsenal and Mathieu Valbuena is a good midfielder. they are strong at home and will spring a surprise or two and just scrape in to the Europa league spot.

My opinion: will finish no 3 in the group
