Happy New Year everyone! It seems I am a bit late in writing the preview of Arsenal games for January although it is better late than never. We have already won our home game against Newcastle thanks to Petr Cech and his superb saves. This month promises to be quite a testing month with teams that are on form or seem to raise their game when facing us so without further ado let us delve into the remaining games.

There is nothing like an easy game especially where Big Sam is involved. He seems to excel at getting under Wenger’s skin and this will not be any different despite Sunderland’s struggles this season. Still, this is a home game so Arsenal should crank up the pressure in the second half and go on to win relatively comfortably. This is the game where Alexis Sanchez makes his long awaited return so that should give Arsenal a boost.
My Prediction:
Arsenal 3-1 Sunderland

Liverpool are going through an indifferent spell after winning Leicester City then losing to West Ham in their last game. This should be an interesting game with two heavyweights going toe to toe. Both coaches love attacking football and so expect defences to be tested numerous times. While it will be an entertaining game, I expect a highscoring game that will be won by a one goal margin.
My Prediction:
Liverpool 2-3 Arsenal
Tottenham 2-2 Leicester City
Manchester City 1-2 Everton
Newcastle 2-2 Manchester United

Another potential banana skin for Arsenal this month. This is another ground where Arsenal tends to struggle with the physicality of their opponents although with Stoke’s attacking acquisitions, they are able to play slick, eye catching football and are definitely no pushover. In order for Arsenal to win this game, they need to remain tight at the back and catch their opponents on the break.
My Predictions:
Stoke City 2-4 Arsenal
Tottenham 2-0 Sunderland
Manchester City 1-2 Crystal Palace
Aston Villa 0-4 Leicester City

This is not the right time to be playing Chelsea. They have a new coach which will give them a huge boost and might have brought in reinforcements that will only make our work that much harder. This is not a must win game for us despite the fact that we are home. No one will want to win this game so expect a drab draw.
My predictions:
Arsenal 0-0 Chelsea
Leicester City 2-4 Stoke City
Manchester United 0-2 Southampton
West Ham 2-2 Manchester City
Crystal Palace 3-1 Tottenham
