Happy New Year everyone!!!! Arsenal started the new year in the wort way by losing convincingly to Southampton. It is the first time I have seen Arsene Wenger so mad and refuse to defend a player publicly. Szczesny has also been dropped for the upcoming game against Hull city. Nice to see Wenger taking drastic action for the first time. So how will Arsenal perform in the upcoming games? Let us find out.

Arsenal players are smarting from a painful loss to Southampton. However, the difference between Arsenal and Manchester United players is Man U players always get on with the game after a loss while Arsenal players seem to suffer from a loss in confidence. This is a tough game to call as we really don’t know which Arsenal team will show up not to mention the fact there will be a lot of changes to the team. However I will go with a narrow one win with Hull City determined to revenge their final loss.

Is there any Arsenal fan who does not fear Stoke City for their over the top rough treatment of our players? As a constant thorn in our side, they should give us a hard time and I wouldn’t put it past them to injure some of our players. However, the fact that we are playing at home and we will be seeking revenge for the earlier loss means we should win this game albeit with a bit of a struggle.
I have never been terrified of Manchester City. Last seasons freak result was just that, a freak result. Arsenal will win this game and win it comfortably so long as Wenger has a virtually full squad to choose from. Of course, this is Arsenal so I am sure we should have a few injuries here and there but we should win this game. Unfortunately, this will give the advantage to Chelsea and the insufferable Jose Mourinho.
