Arsenal vs Tottenham preview

This is the game that makes or breaks our season. If we lose this game, then we remain 10 points behind Chelsea, assuming, of course, they win their game against Aston Villa…no use assuming otherwise. That would spell the end of our season. Even if we were to win our remaining games, I don’t think Chelsea are going to lose many of their games and Mourinho’s record does not look like it’s going to be broken anytime soon.

Of course I could be wrong and, like Gibbs said about our loss to Tottenham last season, the team might refuse another loss and go on to win their remaining games. We would love that as Arsenal fans. If we win, momentum will be with us after our drab but not bad draw with Bayern Munich (How did Arsenal conspire not to show up in the first half?) and win against Everton.

Tottenham have been having a hard time with their losses against Chelsea and Benfica. All their players are misfiring at the moment so of course this is the right time to play them but as this is the derby we need to come all fired up (stand up Rosicky, your team is here).

While it is sad to lose Ozil, he performed really badly and truth be told, I would rather we play without him at the moment. One player who needs to play this game is Podolski. He is one of the few players who played well against Bayern Munich. He definitely needs to be in the team. I am really forward to watching Kallstrom. I keep saying he will give us something new with his free kicks.

This article might sound a little bit pessimistic but after what I saw against Bayern Munich, it seems like Arsenal were going through the motions and had half given up on their season. The game tomorrow will show us how badly Arsenal want this title.
